Eileen Spinella has been working in elder care for over 20 years. She began supporting families that faced difficult decisions moving their loved ones from a home setting to an assisted living community.
She has worked at all levels of senior living in such positions as a community liaison for a local hospice organization, director of business development at a regional home care company, and, most recently, eight years as director of admissions at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Northern Virginia.
At Elder Care Consultants, Eileen works with families to identify the needs of their loved ones and monitors their care plans. She serves as a community resource and provides valuable support and education to both family members and their loved ones.
She understands the challenges families face navigating our complex healthcare system. Eileen’s wealth of experience in settings such as assisted living, home care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and hospice, help support the varying needs of our clients.
Eileen received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, Maryland. She also volunteers for Meals on Wheels in Alexandria and was the founder of Alexandria Senior Healthcare Advocates.
